Outside Corner Help

When intalling the verticore - O pieces, there is really nothing holding the top of the corner piece to the Endu-board... Has anyone noticed this? Am I installing these outside corners incorrectly? Should I use, say, some silicone or other caulk at the top to hold the corner trim piece in place? The bottom of the trim will be held in snugly with the baseboard... Also, when installing around a room, with many inside and outside corners, has someone developed a routine or standard procedure for joining panels (e.g. which panel is the verti core slot slipped on to vs. which side is just pushed up against the adjacent panel, if that makes sense?)

You can fabricate your own cleat attachment when you tab the top inside cut. Or use other hidden fastener methods

Horizontal wainscoting

Has anyone installed the routered panels sideways so the lines run horizontally?

I would stay with how the system is shown here on the site. Everything connects somehow with another and there is a reason for every little detail. I was very imporessed when I installed it in the first room in our house. We started with the plain harrison look in the and upgraded to greenwood for the living and bed rooms. One thing that comes to mind why you would not want the grooves horizontally because they would be intercepted by the vertical separators between the boards. If you end up doing it, do post photos please so we can see how it ended up looking. You never know!

Insulation

Hi, I live on the Gulf Coast of Florida and was wondering what insulation to use behind EnduraFlood, I want something that wonโ€™t absorb water and still be fire resistant, I was going to use closed cell ridged foam boards with a 15 minute thermal barrier so I can just take it out clean and dry it after next flood, but the foam boards even with a thermal barrier still concerns me because they are highly combustible, is there a better way to insulate block walls?

Bayline: Have you found a way to fill 2x4 walls with poly-iso other than layering several boards together. Every time we try this we end up having to cut a lot of panels and it looks awful inside the wall. The panels thickness they have doesnt match the 3-1/2"
