Installing endu right now, got the shipment yesterday, dont understand these two, seems to be a clip like on the videos on the right What is the other one that is flat? What do I use this for? DIYing this so I am new this - please help asap!

Hi mkw! The one at the bottom is the one we most commonly use to mount the boards on 2x4s. We use the Base-flips when we come to a piece of blocking in the wall, or somehow a 2x4 that is turned sideways or some other area where the one with the wings doesnt work. Most of our work is in basements so something always comes up. hope this helps. I will see if I can take a photo in the shop sometime next week unless its too late for you by then. basically if you get stuck with the "klip" try the "flip"
