We are doing a home where the wall are not 16" oc and we having to install 2x4 studs or 2x1/4 strips so the ends of the panels have a solid support to fit on. Is anyone have this problems? How are you handling the panels not hitting a stud?

Bridging the framing with 2x2's between the studs would be the best solution for the base and rail to keep your vertical seams tight. You can also fill between the studs with rigid insulation for support at the seam.
We have caulked up the baseboard against a tiled floor in at least one case with the homeowners approval after we explained that the caulk would have to be cut off and that it may leave residue later. This homeowner decided it was what they wanted and it looked great. As far as I know they have not had water in their basement yet. I would recommend not using caulk if you can avoid it but its hard to not do what the homeowner wants when you are on the jobsite obviously. If anyone has other ideas I would be very curious to hear them

Here is a screen grab from one of the videos showing how you can have the board end inbetween studs
Hi George, The studs dont have to line up with the panels. You can see in many of the install videos how they have the board oftentimes end inbetween studs, and thats perfectly ok in my observation. Maybe there are some instances where you want to add a stud or some blocking I am sure, probably in corners etc, but as a rule you dont have to always.
