Working for a customer fixing hurricane damage and this is first time installing product. Looking for some advice on how to navigate this situation.
The height for cut was right in line with where railing attaches. The panels dont appear to work next to stairs because I can’t get behind to install base-klips or baseboard to hold it in place. Also there is an outside corner to deal with where it meets stairs on other side. Rest of house was “easier” once I learned the product but this section has me stumped. Any thoughts?
Thanks everyone for the advice!
Hey Chris, here is a photo of a similar situation.
We just added blocking behind the wall and installed the panels...
Install uni trim as a j-channel to receive the panels.
Remove the railing bracket from the railing and move it up a few inches along the rail. Maybe slide a piece of blocking behind the sheetrock to support the bracket. Then cut back the sheetrock higher to meet the rest of the wall. Maybe there are other suggestions but this is how I would go about it.
