My home has plaster walls. Plaster walls have a thickness of around 7/8". What would be the solution to install Enduraflood panels? 1/4" Shims are an option for the ENDU-BOARD (to connect to 5/8" drywall) but maybe people have other ideas. I'd also love to use ENDU-KOARD in at least one room (which seems to be meant for 1/2 drywall). Any good idea for using those with plaster walls?

Marc do you have any photos to share so we can be sure we are talking about the same thing?
As others may have pointed out I dont think there is a standard solution for 7/8 plaster walls. We dont see those too much here so I dont think we have come across this with endu installs, but the 1/4" shims would make sense to me. I think you should be able to bring out the RailiHold for the chair rail with a 3/8" shim. But again I have not done this myself so you may want to expermient a bit. Would suggest getting the sample kit for the wainscoating style unless you already did.
